10 Childhood Snacks That Don’t Exist Anymore

Remember the good old days when the hardest decision you had to make was choosing between a Pop Rocks or a Fruit Roll-Up? Those were the days! Some snacks from our childhood left such a strong impression that they’re still fondly remembered today.
Unfortunately, many of them have been discontinued, leaving us with just the sweet (or savory) memories. Here’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane with 10 childhood snacks that don’t exist anymore.

1. Wonder Ball

The Wonder Ball was a delightful treat for every kid in the late ’90s and early 2000s. This hollow chocolate orb contained hard candy, stickers, or a small toy, making it a sweet surprise every time. Wonder Ball was discontinued in 2004 due to choking hazards, leaving many children – and adults – wishing for its return.

2. Dunk-a-Roos

Dunk-a-Roos were little cookies that you could dunk into a tiny tub of frosting. Introduced in 1990 by Betty Crocker, they were a lunchbox favorite for many kids. Unfortunately, these cookies were discontinued in the U.S. in 2012, making them a sweet memory of the past.

Squeezit was a popular drink among kids in the ’80s and ’90s. These plastic bottles filled with colorful juice were fun to squeeze, hence the name. General Mills discontinued Squeezit in 2001, leaving us with only the memory of its unique taste and design.

3D Doritos were a 3-dimensional version of the regular Doritos. They were hollow and puffed up, which made for an interesting texture. Despite their popularity, Frito-Lay discontinued them in the early 2000s, leaving fans disappointed.

It’s a bittersweet feeling to look back at these discontinued snacks. They are a testament to our childhood memories and the simple joys they brought us.
