12 Snacks I Always Keep in My Pantry Before Prices Jump

With the unpredictability of the economy and the increasing cost of groceries, it’s always a smart move to keep a well-stocked pantry. Here are 12 of my go-to pantry snacks that I like to keep on hand before prices jump.

Not only are these snacks delicious and satisfying, but they also won’t break the bank. Let’s dive into my list and maybe you’ll find some new favorites to store in your pantry as well.

1. Popcorn

Popcorn makes the top of my list because it’s not only a tasty treat, but it’s also light on the wallet and heavy on satisfaction. I prefer to buy the kernels in bulk and pop them myself. It’s a healthier, cheaper alternative to the pre-packaged microwave popcorn. Plus, you can customize it with your favorite seasonings.

2. Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds are a great source of protein and healthy fats, making them a satisfying snack for any time of the day. I always keep a variety of almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds in my pantry. They can be a bit pricey, but purchasing in bulk can help save money in the long run.
