6 Hostess Treats We’d Do Anything to Bring Back

Hostess has given us some of the most memorable snack treats over the years, and many of their classic products hold a special place in our hearts. While some treats have stuck around, others have disappeared from shelves, leaving fans wishing for their return.

We’ve put together a list of six Hostess snacks we’d do anything to bring back because they represent a fun part of our snacking past that we miss today. These treats remind us of simpler times and tasty moments we’d love to experience again.

Suzy Q’s Chocolate Cake Sandwiches

We’ve missed Suzy Q’s for years, and thankfully, they’re back on shelves. These treats have two airy chocolate cake layers with a creamy filling in between that feels just right.

The new Suzy Q’s are bigger and creamier, bringing us closer to the original recipe we loved. It’s a perfect mix of chocolate and crème for a sweet snack whenever we need a little comfort.

Candy Brownies

We all miss those Hostess candy brownies that blended rich chocolate with real candy pieces like M&M’s and Milky Way. They offered the perfect mix of gooey brownie and crunchy candy that made each bite special.

These treats were a hit for a while but sadly disappeared without much warning. It’s hard not to wish they would make a comeback for the chocolate and candy lovers among us.

The combination was simple yet irresistible—moist, chocolatey brownies topped with familiar candy that brought a fun twist to an old favorite. We’d love to enjoy them again.

Low Fat Twinkies

We remember the Low Fat Twinkies fondly for offering a lighter option without losing that classic Hostess taste. With only 1.5 grams of fat per serving, they made it easier to enjoy a sweet treat without the usual guilt.

These individually wrapped snacks felt like a smart choice for those moments when we wanted something tasty but a bit healthier. Hostess really aimed to keep the flavor while cutting down on fat, and we appreciated that effort. It’s a shame they’re no longer around.

Pudding Pies

We all remember Hostess Pudding Pies as a unique treat with a creamy pudding filling inside a soft, chocolate-iced crust. They came in both chocolate and vanilla flavors, which made choosing just one a real challenge.

These pies had a special charm because the filling was so rich, you could enjoy it with a spoon after nibbling the crust’s end. They were only sold for a short time in the mid-1980s but left a lasting impression.

Many of us still hope Hostess will bring them back. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles promotion was a fun touch, but nothing compares to the original pudding pies themselves.

Choco-Bliss Snack Cakes

We can’t forget Choco-Bliss, a true chocolate lover’s dream from the 1980s. These snack cakes had moist chocolate layers, creamy frosting, and a glossy chocolate glaze on top.

Eating just one was tough because they were so rich and satisfying. They felt like a special treat, perfect for sneaking after dinner.

Unfortunately, Hostess discontinued them in the 1990s. We still hope to see Choco-Bliss make a comeback someday, bringing back that classic chocolatey goodness we miss.

Sweet Rolls

We all remember the sticky, sweet joy of Hostess Sweet Rolls. These pastries, which came in classic flavors like cinnamon and cherry, were a breakfast favorite for many. Their soft texture and sugary coating made mornings a little brighter.

It’s sad they disappeared after corporate changes and restructuring. We’ve heard from countless fans who miss the familiar taste and want them back on shelves.

Bringing Sweet Rolls back would be a win for nostalgic snack lovers everywhere. They were more than just a treat; they were a small, comforting part of our day.
